Convenient follow-up care without the waiting room
Harbor Physicians offers telehealth appointments for selected medical concerns and follow-up visits when an in-person examination is not required. Connect with your provider securely using a smartphone, tablet or computer from your home or another private location.
From scheduling to meeting with your provider, our telehealth visits are designed to be simple, secure and convenient.
Call our office to schedule your telehealth appointment. We'll determine whether a virtual visit is appropriate for your medical concern.
Our team will contact you before your appointment to confirm your visit and answer any questions you may have.
A few minutes before your appointment, one of our Medical Assistants will call to review your symptoms, medications and any home vital signs you've recorded. If your insurance requires a copay, payment will also be collected during this call before you join your virtual visit with the provider.
Using the secure link we provide, log into the virtual waiting room. Your provider will join as soon as they become available.
Discuss your concerns, review your treatment plan, receive recommendations and ask questions just like an office visit.
If you have the equipment available at home, we recommend checking your vital signs shortly before your appointment. This information can help your provider better evaluate your condition during the virtual visit.
Many common medical concerns can be safely evaluated during a virtual visit. If your provider determines that an in-person examination or testing is needed, we'll help schedule the appropriate follow-up.
Our staff will gladly help determine whether your symptoms are appropriate for a telehealth visit or whether an in-person appointment would provide better care.
